A Festival with Flavor and Purpose:
Our Zero Waste Mission
The Hudson Valley Garlic Festival® is more than a celebration of food, music, and community. It is also a commitment to caring for the environment we all share. Through our Zero Waste program, volunteers help guests sort compostables, recyclables, and landfill waste at stations across the grounds, dramatically reducing what gets sent to the landfill. By choosing compostable serviceware, educating visitors, and working together, we aim to make every festival cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable. Join us in proving that a great festival can also leave a lighter footprint.
We are always looking for friendly volunteers to help make this program a success. If you enjoy meeting people, supporting a great community event, and being part of something positive, we would love to have you join the Zero Waste team. No special experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to help.
